On October 2nd, the Samara Centre hosted Democratic Innovation: What’s Needed, What’s Not Necessary, What’s Next featuring panelists Malorie Flon (Institute du Nouveau Monde), Bianca Wylie (Digital Public) and Sarah Yaffe (MASS LBP). The discussion led by our CEO, Sabreena Delhon, explored best practices for increasing public participation in politics as well as various innovations, both online and in-person, that enhance local democracy and bridge the gap between citizens and ‘political elites.’ Our thanks to the Institute for Research on Public Policy for hosting us in their beautiful space.
